Our Satisfied Guests

Casa Del Mar Inn takes great pride in the service and care we give each guest that visits our hotel in Santa Barbara. Listed below are just some of the reviews we have gotten over the years from many a satisfied guest!

Very nice hotel with nice rooms. Clean and quiet, all you need is there. Just one night but it was a pleasant night. A late review, but still had to be done.

This little inn is a fantastic gem. Perfect location for walking around and enjoying everything Santa Barabara has to offer. My fiance and I spent our anniversary weekend here after his professor had recommended it with rave reviews. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The front desk gave us a bottle of wine on the house to celebrate and had the fireplace outside lit for us when we came back from dinner. The room we stayed in was adorable with coved ceilings, a little fireplace, a three sets of french door windows. A few of our friends came to stay the weekend and their rooms were adorable too. Even the smaller rooms had soo much charm! I can’t say enough great things about Casa Del Mar Inn. We will definitely be staying here again and will recommend it to anyone we know weekending in SB.

My wife and I got married in Ventura, CA Monday, Jan. 6th 2014. Afterwards we drove to Santa Barbara, straight to the Casa Del Mar. It was exactly what I wanted it to be. I had never been to California before. We were greeted with smiling faces and knowledgable staff. We had a nice happy hour, complimentary wine and cheese before headed to State St. for dinner. I had a wonderful time. Perfect size room, clean, comfortable bed. Walking distance to the beach and pier. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making the evening after our wedding so nice.

5-Star Experience at Casa Del Mar Inn in Santa Barbara. The privacy here is amazing! So quaint, cozy and quiet, perfect for the Business Traveler. The layout of the rooms facilitate a great work environment. Beds are comfy, everything is pristine. Liked it so much I booked another week! Really glad my co-worker referred me to this hidden Gem!

If you are looking for a real slow-paced lodging experience you definitely have to check this place out! Entering past the outdoor lounge area into the main lobby you get this calm, earthy feel with hints of modern flair. To your left is a dining room where you can enjoy continental breakfasts or their happy hour with complimentary wine and cheese. My friend and I checked in and then went promptly back to the dining room to just decompress in the quietness next to the window. Walking back to our room is more like walking through a tiny villa. You don’t have the hum of laundry machines or the pre-fab exterior of so many hotels you’ve been to. No, there are plants and vines and tile walkways. You turn the key and enter into your room (more like a little condo) and fluffy white comforters almost whisper to you to come to bed. The adjustable lighting helps you keep your side lit while the other sleeps. A clean wood desk by the window is a perfect way to do some telecommuting (bring your own CAT-5 networking cable!). The shower has complimentary shampoo and body wash dispensers. The other great thing about this place is that it is close to the beach, about a block away. It’s a bit of hike to get to State St., but if you check a map there are trolleys you can ride for $0.25.

This place is super cute, comfortable, and in a nice location. We stayed here during their off season while they were having a promotion so our room was pretty inexpensive. The staff were very friendly. There was a crazy heat wave while we were there so the room got very very hot during the day. Without having to ask, the guy at the front desk had brought a couple extra fans to our room to help cool it down faster. I’d recommend staying here if you want a quiet, low key place to stay. They also had wine, crackers, cheese, and fruit in the afternoons in the common area for guests to enjoy which was a nice touch.

Found CDMI thanks to fellow yelpers. Thank you for not letting me down! We would definitely stay here again. The property is so cute – looks like a Spanish villa. Loved chatting with Yun, the Innkeeper. He was very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The wine & cheese hour and continental breakfast were a little meager, but I knew that going in so I wasn’t too disappointed. A couple blocks off State St., it’s in a great location away from the hustle and bustle. The beach is practically across the street and Stearns Wharf is a 5 minute walk.

Located half a block away from the pier in Stearns Wharf, CDMI is a clean convenient dog-friendly bed and breakfast in Santa Barbara. We stayed in a 2-bedroom 2-bath suite perfect for two couples. The suite has a fairly large kitchen, dining area, and living room space with a gas-burning fireplace. I love how the rooms are both rustic and modern. The powder blue walls complement the dark brown furniture very well. The bed is very comfortable and there were inidivdual reading lights in both sides of the bed. The room price and the extra charge for dogs ($15 a night) are very reasonable. There’s wine and cheese in the early evening and breakfast (bagels, muffins, bananas and cereals) in the morning. The blueberry muffins were very tasty. Internet access is wireless and free.

Super cute place! It’s like staying in a little villa with sweet-fragranced hanging vines everywhere, and it’s really close to the beach. Modern decor inside, with mostly linoleum floors (I guess because of the sand) and some carpet tiles in strategic areas. We had a king courtyard room right next to the courtyard. The room was long with a nice seating area in front of the bed and the closet, fridge, microwave, and bathroom in a sort of parallel hallway off to

We planned a very spontaneous trip to Santa Barbara on a Thursday morning. We researched lodging in the car on our drive from Los Angeles. We were pleased to arrive at Casa del Mar and find out there was still vacancies. We received a great rate for a double bed room. CDM includes nice amenities like free WiFi, wine and cheese happy hour and a decent continental breakfast. All the of the staff was very accommodating and helpful with questions of Santa Barbara or restaurant recommendations. We were able to walk just about everywhere which was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again for the great location and reasonable rates!
